Evaluation of cooperation between the Economic Development and Tourism Agency and tourism partners
Brugger + Partner supported the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as a sparring partner in reviewing the cooperation between the Graubünden Economic Development and Tourism Agency (AWT) and its tourism partners. Tourism development in the canton of Graubünden is governed by the Economic Development Promotion Act (GEW), which seeks to enhance the competitiveness and innovation of the canton as a business location, maintain and increase value creation, and secure and create jobs. The study focused on evaluating the cooperation between the AWT and its tourism partners. Initially, relevant foundational documents were systematically analysed, followed by interviews to examine the structures, processes in contract awarding, and financial flows. An actual-target comparison was then conducted based on these findings. The results were summarised in a report, and concrete recommendations for action were discussed during a workshop with the client.
