Redesign of the Energy and Environmental Technology bachelor's programme

The bachelor's programme in Energy and Environmental Technology at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) was restructured in 2024. Brugger + Partner was commissioned by FHNW to assist the internal project team in redesigning the programme to meet the needs of current and future target groups. Brugger + Partner served as an external project manager. Through a series of workshops, we supported the FHNW project team and an extended working group in creating an innovative, forward-looking Energy and Environmental Technology programme that addresses the needs of younger generations, especially young women. By engaging key stakeholders at an early stage, the project team developed a proposal that gained consensus from the directors of all three FHNW schools. The redesigned Energy and Environmental Technology programme was offered for the first time in 2024.
