Economic impulse strategy

Brugger + Partner supports the municipality of Emmen in developing an economic impulse strategy aimed at identifying potential development opportunities within the employment zone and establishing an overarching positioning for Emmen as a business location. We assessed existing strategic frameworks and statistical data to better understand the framework conditions and characteristics of the Emmen business location. In a next step, we identified the needs of relevant economic operators through guided interviews. Building on these insights and a creative workshop with the Emmen economic development office, we compiled a comprehensive SWOT analysis and formulated strategic conclusions. The goal for the final product is to deliver a comprehensive economic impulse strategy that outlines positioning, guiding principles, fields of action, and specific measures.
