Governance, strategy, and organisation of the company foundation

Brugger + Partner was commissioned by the JTI Foundation to conduct a benchmark analysis of best foundation practices, covering peers from the corporate foundation sector. The objective was to identify areas for improvement in the foundation's governance and organisation to ensure credibility through a strong reputation, enhance the effectiveness of organisational processes, and secure measurable project impacts. Following the identification of peers and the definition and weighting of criteria, the benchmark analysis was carried out using publicly available information and interviews. The analysis offered the client valuable insights for adapting and further developing the foundation.
