Health Tech Central Switzerland

Brugger + Partner supported the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as a sparring partner in the Health Tech Central Switzerland project, part of the SECO pilot programme on spaces for economic action (PHR-W). The project's aim was to consolidate health tech expertise in Central Switzerland and gain a deeper understanding of the region as a space for action. The project was divided into three modules: In the first module, trends and challenges in health technology in Central Switzerland were identified, along with relevant companies and their specific needs. Building on these findings, the second module focused on developing a business model for a health tech cluster and creating a digital platform to foster networking and promote innovative products. The third module provided support by analysing Central Switzerland from a regional economic perspective to assess its suitability as a space for action in consolidating health tech expertise. The results of the project were discussed and reflected upon during two dialogue events.
