Optimisation of greenhouse gas accounting and innovation process for measures
Brugger + Partner supported SQS in optimising its carbon footprint and initiated measures to reduce greenhouse gases in the area of business mobility. By analysing the previous climate accounting, potentials were identified with regard to accuracy, transparency and traceability, which will enable more detailed accounting and more targeted reduction measures in the future. In addition, initial quick wins for reducing greenhouse gases were highlighted.
In the second part of the project, Brugger + Partner led a participatory innovation process with various stakeholders from SQS. The aim was to develop measures that would lead to greenhouse gas savings in the complex and challenging area of business mobility for an audit company, while taking into account the needs of SQS auditors and customers. At the beginning of the process, a comprehensive process/system map of the audit cycle, including the mobility-related fields of action and decision-making, was jointly developed. Concrete solution concepts were developed through ideation and prototyping. At the end of the project, there are two tested prototypes of measures that SQS can further develop independently.
