Strategy for the valorisation of development hubs in the canton of Schwyz
Brugger + Partner supported the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as a sparring partner in developing a strategy for the valorisation of development hubs in the Innerschwyz region, commissioned by the Rigi-Mythen Regional Association. These development hubs play a pivotal role in addressing the region's growth challenges. The project aimed to formulate and approve a strategy for leveraging the four development hubs (Fänn, Arth-Goldau, Seewen-Schwyz, and Brunnen). The process commenced with a regional economic location analysis to uncover positioning potential. A workshop with representatives from cantonal offices and the Rigi-Mythen Regional Association followed, facilitating discussions on positioning scenarios. Subsequent in-depth workshops were conducted with the respective municipalities to refine these scenarios. The findings were consolidated during a synthesis workshop, where they were reviewed and harmonised from a broader perspective before finalising and communicating the strategy.
