Strategy development for Matter Valley geotourism region

Brugger + Partner supported the municipalities in the Matter Valley in developing and implementing a geotourism region rooted in sustainability principles. The goal was to sustainably valorise the diverse natural and cultural landscape for tourism through innovative products and services. The project was backed by the federal government as part of the Sustainable Spatial Development 2014-2018 pilot initiative. In the initial phase, Brugger + Partner worked together with the client to develop the project concept and draft the project application. Following the acceptance of the pilot project by the federal government, Brugger + Partner provided ongoing support in project management, process design, and monitoring and securing the outcomes of sub-projects. Additional services included preparing, facilitating, and evaluating workshops and meetings, along with contributing methodological and technical insights informed by extensive experience with similar projects.
