Corporate sustainability
We support companies in embedding sustainability that generates positive value – for the company, society, and nature.
We support organisations in developing and embedding sustainability in their business strategies. A focus on impact and material topics, guided by a double materiality assessment, provides a solid foundation for creating a strategy and roadmap with tangible impact. We work closely with executives and management, viewing the integration of sustainability into an organisation as a catalyst for innovation and long-term viability.
We support organisations in designing and implementing sustainability reporting tailored to their target audiences. Our approach prioritises transparency, comprehensibility, and impact both internally and externally. We ensure that reporting complies with the applicable regulations (e.g. CSRD, Article 964 of the Swiss Code of Obligations) and adheres to reporting guidelines (e.g. GRI, TCFD). Depending on the needs, our mandates range from project management to coaching and quality assurance.
We guide organisations on their path towards decarbonisation, starting with a robust greenhouse gas inventory that can be continuously refined. Based on this foundation, we assist in setting ambitious and credible climate targets and developing effective reduction and removal strategies. We also support the identification and strategic integration of physical and transition risks and opportunities. Together with partners from our network, we actively contribute to implementing the developed strategies and communicating them effectively.
We support organisations in creating, enhancing and leveraging their positive impact on society and nature. Through business model innovations, impact-driven objectives, the development of a theory of change, and the monitoring and evaluation of projects, we help organisations link their core business with a positive impact.
We support organisations in their cultural and structural transformation towards greater sustainability. Key elements include organisational structure and processes. For a meaningful transformation, it is essential to align organisational development with the "invisible reality" of values, experiences, convictions, and behavioural patterns. To heighten awareness of conflicting goals and drive effective cultural change, we work together with executives, leaders, and teams.
Regional and location development
We support the federal government, cantons, cities, municipalities, and organisations in the real estate industry with customised location analyses and innovative strategies – so that they can develop their location in a targeted manner and leverage its specific qualities.
We support the federal government, cantons, cities, municipalities, as well as site and real estate developers in crafting effective strategies. Through professionally moderated participatory processes, we ensure the strategy is widely supported and forward-looking.
We take on operational responsibility for implementing location-related strategies, including project management and coordination. This also encompasses overall responsibility for operational location promotion. Additionally, we support regional and location development organisations as a sparring partner, by providing a critical external perspective, or as workshop facilitators.
We support cities, municipalities, regions, and the real estate industry in conducting location analyses. This encompasses a wide range of spatial methods applied individually or in combination, depending on the context. The most comprehensive is socio-economic analysis, complemented by specialised approaches such as SWOT, needs, impact, scenario, environment, stakeholder, and policy analyses. These analyses typically form the foundation for evidence-based strategy development.
We support municipalities, cities, regions, and cantons in standing out in the competition among locations. Recognising that each location and region has unique strengths and qualities, we place particular emphasis on careful observation and active listening. Building on this foundation, we collaboratively develop tailored concepts and strategies with our clients and support them in their implementation.
We support regional and location development organisations in designing and implementing customised participation processes for their projects – ranging from small workshops and large group moderations to multi-year stakeholder dialogues. Participation is essential for achieving a broadly supported project with lasting impact.
Sustainable society
We promote dialogue between business, policymakers, and society. Through strategy, participation, and transformation processes, we contribute to building a sustainable society.
We support the federal government, cantons, cities, municipalities, associations, and other civil society organisations in clearly defining their vision and successfully implementing their strategic goals and measures. This provides direction both internally and externally, strengthening their capacity to advance important societal issues together with the public sector and the business community.
We see ourselves as a catalyst for a sustainable society by helping to bring relevant topics to the forefront of business and societal agendas. With dedication, expertise, and our network, we actively engage in inclusion and diversity issues, particularly within social enterprises and associations.
With our comprehensive methodological expertise and interdisciplinary team, we assist public and private clients in evaluating their projects and programmes to assess their effectiveness and efficiency. We tailor our approach to the needs of our clients – whether for a final evaluation with recommendations or ongoing professional support to optimise programmes and processes.
We assist organisations in developing optimally aligned processes and structures. We help refine existing processes and support the advancement of their management principles and corporate culture.
We aim to share our experience and knowledge by teaching sustainability-related and regional economic topics at various universities and universities of applied sciences. Engaging in dialogue with students as equals is important to us, as it helps foster a professional and personal identity deeply rooted in sustainability.
